I ordered a new Nikon Coolpix 5900 from Amazon.com the other day, mainly to have a smaller camera to carry around all the time. I also wanted my own digital camera to avoid having to share or carry around my camera bag when my wife Amy and I go on trips or outings. Partly to supplement my rationalization of the purchase and partly because I feel bad about not taking as many photos as I used to, I’ve resolved to take time every day to take 10 new photos. The camera won’t be here until later this month, but I’ve already started on my resolution using Amy’s Sony DSC-85. I’ve written some code for displaying photos in galleries here, but I haven’t had the time to really make it into something I’m happy with. Until then, I’ll be uploading the photos every day to my flickr photos account.
